Designer Jewellery A Huge Hit

It is often said that jewels are a girl's best friend. Jewellery can have its manifestations in different forms. There can be necklaces, earrings, rings, bracelets, brooches and others. Jewellery can be made from any material. You can make designer jewellery by using precious metals like gold, silver, copper, bronze or you can make jewellery using precious gems and stones or even shells. Whatever be the material, any jewellery is appreciated.

Jewellery is often unique to a particular culture. While the ancient people used to prefer wearing jewellery made from wood or stones or animal teeth or shells or bones, modern jewellery is not made from these materials. As was in the ancient civilization, jewellery in modern times is also considered to be symbol of showing ones status. But the use of jewellery is not just restricted to showing off ones status. Some jewellery has functional purposes. Clasps, brooches, pin, buckles are used not only as adornment, but they are also functional items.

Jewellery is often used to be symbolic representation of a particular group like the most Christians wear a crucifix, which is the symbol round their neck. Married people often wear wedding ring. In some culture the use of jewellery is done to ward off evil. Mostly the tribal people are more prone to wearing amulets or devotional medals to protect themselves from the any omen.

In spite of these, jewellery has always been worn as a form of artistic display. Though, jewellery has been an adornment of women, but men have also worn jewellery. In ancient times, men were often seen wearing necklaces or earrings and this tradition has still continued.

From the head to the toe, jewellery has been made to adorn nearly every part of a girl's body. While the traditional jewellery is normally made from precious gems and stones having metals like gold or silver as its base, the more recent Designer Jewellery is made from a variety of materials ranging from clay, wood, glass and also plastics. With the growing price of gold and silver in the world market, people are now opting for jewellery made from cheaper material where the creativity of the design is more important than the material used.

Jewellery can be worn for any occasion. But during weddings, the use of jewellery is more. Marriage is important in everybody's life. For any girl or boy, marriage is a grand day. That is why; it is celebrated with much pomp and splendor. In fact, nowadays, exquisite bridal jewellery is made for this purpose.

Every girl wants to look her best on the day of her wedding. It is not just the trousseau that is important to her. Bridal jewellery and the tiaras are the next most important things. Wearing her trousseau and matching jewellery when she walks down the aisle, she would want every eye to admire her.

With jewellery made of pearl or diamond to enhance her beauty, every bride would want to have her perfect jewellery that would be a lifetime asset for her.
