Rift Cleric Leveling Build For New Rift Gamers!

One of the more versatile builds in the Rift world is the Cleric and particularly if you use a versatile Soul Path, you can seamlessly switch between leveling and raid functions without the need to re-spec on everything. Clerics excel at providing magic support and are adequately equipped to heal injuries and even diseases cast by other magic wielders hence they are essential to any group setting. In the same way, a proper Rift Cleric leveling build can manage on its own even when it is operating separate from a group setting.

The main objectives of any player looking to make a formidable Rift cleric leveling build are quick mana regeneration, as deep a mana source as possible, and powerful spells to accomplish any goals set before him. To this end, all Rift Cleric leveling builds should prioritize Wisdom, Intelligenece, Endurance in that order. Wisdom increases the speed of mana regeneration and total mana is governed by the player's Intelligence stat. Of course, Endurance is a basic to any player looking to go out for extended periods to level up.

Now here is a aprticular Rift Cleric leveling build that we like because of its inherent versatility. The build builds on the offensive skills of the Shaman to get the job done, then pairs it up with the excellent defense of the Justicar soul. In higher levels and towards end-game scenarios, the Druid path is added for extra boost on offense as will be described later.

Start your Rift Cleric leveling build with a Shaman-Justicar tandem focusing on the Unyielding and Hammer of Virtue skills. Prioritize spec for the Shaman by quickly allocating 5 skill points to Unyielding, 5 for Dauntless Courage, 5 for Overwhelming, and 4 for Long Memory up until Level 20 as you work on 5 points for Hammer of Virtue and 1 for Glacial Shield from the Justicar tree. By Level 26, your spec should look like Shaman (25) - Justicar (6) - Druid (2) with the early Druid points allocated for Strength of Earth.

Towards Level 50, aim for a Shaman (33) - Druid (27) - Justicar (6) spec and banking on a melee style attack to render your opponents lifeless. A Faerie pet also presents distinct advantages because aside from the fact that the pet can heal itself, you can use it for ducking in and out with alternating crushing and massive blows up close or from a distance. Particularly as you progress in the higher levels, spec the Druid tree by allocating skill points on Slumber, Grim Silence, Spirit of Wood, Weight of the World, Rage of Fae, and Natural Dedication. By this time around, your mana total should be sufficient to endlessly attack without running out of mana and still allowing your regeneration rate to cope up with your usage needs.
