5 Easy Ways to Update Your Children's Bedroom

A little creativity and a little thought can make transforming your children's bedroom an easy venture, here's a few ideas to get your creative juices flowing!

1 - Keep your kids involved! They are going to have to live with your choices every day, so make sure you keep your children involved in any changes you intend to make to their bedroom, you never know - they may have some great ideas to really make their space their own. Turn the design of their room into a project you can do together - this will get the job done quicker and give you some quality time together.

2 - Never underestimate the power of the bedroom accessory Something as small as a table lamp, or ceiling light can really change the mood of a bedroom, so ensure you consider even the smallest of details in your child's bedroom. A rug is also a great way to add a homely feeling to a larger bedroom, while matching the accessories to the theme of the bedroom you could end up with something that looks rather professional!

3 - Don't forget the walls! You don't need to invest in an expensive piece of artwork to use the walls in the design of your children's bedroom. Get creative with some family photos and an old photo frame to really make your child's bedroom their own, not to mention it won't cost you the earth!

4 - Colour is King If you have chosen themed bedroom furniture, be careful which bedroom accessories you choose, not all reds or blues or greens were created equal and could leave you with a bedroom that looks mis-matched.
